Dismantle, Relocate and Upgrade 100 STPD Gaseous Oxygen Plant; Saudi Arabia |
|
A Saudi Arabian company was in need of a gaseous
oxygen plant that could produce at least 80 MTD of product to support production
of titanium dioxide (TiO2).
UIG had a 100 STPD plant available that was located in Mexico. Dismantlement began in early 2002 and the relocated plant began operation in Saudi Arabia in late 2002. UIG provided project management, design engineering and field support throughout dismantlement in Mexico, shipment to Saudi Arabia, and during the construction, commissioning and startup processes. The instrumentation and control systems were upgraded as part of the relocation project; and an oxygen compressor was supplied. |
