Dismantle and Relocate 56 STPD Gaseous Oxygen PSA; Albania |
| UIG provided a used oxygen PSA, which had been
operated for about ten years by a major U.S. industrial gas company, to a
steel company in Albania.
UIG purchased the plant from the original builder/ owner/ operator, disassembled it and stored it immediately after it was shut down. The Albanian customer purchased the equipment, including an oxygen compressor “as-is” to take maximum advantage of low-cost equipment and services that were available in Albania and to minimize import duties. The UIG plant relocation scope included in-house engineering support, transportation to US port and field supervision during construction. The relocated plant began production of oxygen in late 2002. |
